Join us on Amorgos Island, April 4-April 11, 2024 for a weeklong wellness and adventure retreat including daily yoga and meditation, Reiki energy healing, fresh eats, unforgettable ocean views, and a beautiful community.

Our home will be at Aegialis Hotel & Spa, a renowned destination for wellness worshippers and yoga enthusiasts, awarded by CNN for being one of the top five Yoga Hotels in Greece!  

According to mythology, Amorgos was the island where Ulysses, returning to Ithaki, was attracted like a magnet by Goddess Kirki, and stayed for many years. Every year since, the same magnetic attraction beguiles wellness and yoga enthusiasts, which flock to the island, attracted by its strong revitalizing energy and the abundance of therapeutic herbs, which make of Amorgos the perfect place for a spiritual and physical uplift.

Aegialis Hotel & Spa has been a reference point for wellness travellers, thanks to its facilities and services, which are all designed to provide well-being in both spirit and body. The main Restaurant, “Ambrosia Gallery”, provides a wide variety of gourmet specialities, with lots of vegan, vegeterian, gluten free options etc, all prepared with organic vegetables from the property gardens. An expansive breakfast buffet will be served each morning of your stay along with a dinner of local flavours prepared freshly for our group.

The Hotel also features a Spa & Beauty Center, “Lalon Idor”, an ultramodern thalassotherapy center whose treatments are in perfect harmony with the local elements of Amorgos. The oils used are extracted from local herbs. For the ultimate reset and renewal, use of the spa facilities and fitness centres are complimentary to each guest, as well as a 30 minute massage. Additional spa services can be purchased with a preferential rate (10% discount).

Daily yoga, meditation & workshops:

As we’ve learned with our previous retreats, exploring yoga, meditation, and energy healing in naturally high vibration environments heightens these practices. These settings are ideal to begin or expand your wellness rituals. No previous experience is required and all sessions are optional. Practice as much or as little as you choose. Each day will begin with a sunrise meditation followed by flow yoga (active and dynamic) and later yin yoga (chill, meditative, and stretchy) sessions throughout the day. Each of Aegialis’ 6 yoga shalas overlook the sea for epic views and a deep connection to our natural world.

Getting there:

Our hotel is located up to the hill, with a panoramic view to Aegiali bay and the Aegean. We are only 1km distance from the port of Aegiali, where shops, tavernas, coffee bars, supermarkets etc can be found, as well as the main beach of Aegiali. This means around 10-15 minutes walking distance.

Also, the beach of Levrossos is a 10-15 minutes walking distance.

Amorgos doesn’t have an airport and has 2 ports. The port of Aegiali (1km distance from our hotel) and the port of Katapola (22km distance). 

The closest airports are of Naxos and Santorini. 

From around middle of April, till around middle of October , you can fly to Naxos, Santorini, Paros, or even Mykonos and then take a ferry to Amorgos. Duration of the ferry trip can be 1-4 hours, depending on the schedule.

The option of taking a ferry from Athens applies as well.

For the rest of the period, traveling from Athens is an option, or reaching Naxos and take a ferry from there

*From October to May, ferry from Athens departs in the evening, arriving on Amorgos late at night. Trip takes around 8 hours.

For your stay, you will be accommodated in a Superior Cycladic room. These rooms feature state-of-the-art facilities in a minimal Cycladic design mentality and present a subtle, elegant and modern comfort. Enjoy the splendid view of the Aegean from your private balcony. Each room can welcome single or double occupancies with either a king size bed or two single beds (without a gap in between).

Prices include everything aforementioned *EXCEPT * Airfare not included + tourist accommodation tax of 4 € per room per night is not included and has to be paid separately by all during check out (approx $50 CAD total)

Please note that all payments and deposits are a commitment to travel and thus non-refundable and non-transferrable. All payments must be made on time to save a guests’ spot to this incredible experience. Payments can be made cash or via e-transfer with a receipt to follow up and keep track. Payment plans over multiple months will require a 10% additional fee. To reserve a minimum $500 deposit is required. Balance must be paid in half by September 1st, and in full by December 1st, 2023.
